MOPAR BOV and Aftermarket Intakes???

You are right the sensor is only accurat for outside temps when air is moving across it. Unplug it from in front of the radiator and place the sensor near the air filter box for engine compartment temps. You now have a new engine compartment temperature guage!

I have it positioned so directly in front of the intake on the stock box with the silecer removed to any air moving into the box will be registered by the sensor. I am sure that it gets heat soaked but the heat had to be there.

I have tried runing a tube up through the wheel well to the intake but the wheel well liner is so close to the metal in there that it just smashed it down to nothing and reduced that flow. My next idea here is to cut a hole in the stock box and duct some air up into it from the opening in the front facia over the tranny.
