Default SRT exhaust
I was a good girl and did a serach but was unable to find the specific detail I need. Does any aftermarket downpipe and exhaust fit the GT? I want a 3 inch turbo back exhaust with a high flow cat. Warrenty? Altough I see no reason for it to void it, I could care less either way...so need to start up those discussions

I think we all need to beg Hector (exhaust depot). I asked about his design for the SRT a while back & he said he was working on something for us too....haven't seen him around in a while....

Yea, Id like to have him tell us the differences. Last I heard our lack of space (imagine that ) was giving him trouble with teh downpipe.

Actually I talked to him earlier today, and he said he can use the same downpipe he made for the SRT4, he just needs to lengthen it by 4 inches.

i worked with Hector on the gt downpipe and i have it on my car now. i am going to the exhaust shop this week to extend the 3" down pipe to the tail pipe section so i will have 3" plumbing from turbo to tail pipe.

maybe later i will extent the taippipe and muffler to 3" also i just don't want it to be too loud.

Hectors peice is very nice , quality is first class. if he offers a full exhaust system i would recommend it because the mandrel bends and perfect welds look great.

So...his downpipe is too short? Is he going to make a new one? Or are we expected to spend even more flow making it fit. Blah. Ill prolly just go get one made at my local muffler shop.

I tell you what...everything I have heard about his exhaust from the SRT folks, I would be willing to do what I had to do to make it fit...SRT4 guys with the stage I & hectors exhaust have been nothing but EXTREMLY happy with the results...
