Hi for my bday my gf is getting me the blow off valve conversion (event if my gt is an automatic lol) but i was wondering , when i looked at the mopar catalogue, what did exactly did the wastegate actuator did, and how hard is it to install? thx!

oh, and wich one should i get?

Wastegate Actuator, P350, Stage 2 or Wastegate Actuator, P420, Stage 3R i dont have the stage 1......yet

First, you need a boost gauge so you don't fry your engine. The Stage 2 will fit, the Stage 3R fits a different (Stage 3) manifold. A layman can do it, but it can be a PITA.

What do you suggest as a good boost gauge, and do you "plumb" or wire it to be really effective, 'cuz ive read n a forum thats the stock srt4 gauge aint that all reliable.......

The boost gauge in my srt4 reads exactly the same as my Aeroforce scan gauge. I know there have been some problems, but none for me.

I had an Autometer boost gauge in my GT. You have to tee it into the vacuum hose coming off the back of the intake manifold and wire it into the dimmer switch wire. Here's my install.
