Default BTG Install Today

Just put the BTG muffler on today. No muss no fuss. It did give it a little sound, I was expecting more though. We will see as it burns in. I found my ThunderHeaders on my sportster burned in and after about 4000 miles they are louder than when installed. Wonder if the BTG will do this also. Took about 45 mins. start to finish all tools away and factory muffler put up for spare. Setting the stage for my Stage 1 that should be here any day now. I hope the Stage one gives it a little more throaty sound.

Also put on the 5 pc. chrome door handle inserts. These are well worth the money and look very rich on my Elec. Blue. I think on a black and chrome PT they would look outstanding.

Waiting on rear mud flaps, and Billet shifter. They will be here the 28th.

I installed a BTG dual set up and it sounded puny. However, after about 1500 miles they really rumble.

Maybe my ears got used to the sound, but mine got quieter after the burn in.

Just Two Cents.

If nothing else it will get the most out of your stage 1! I am very envious of U as I am having trouble finding out much about stage 1 and legalities here in Calif!!

I have an Electric Blue GT also. I have the handle guards and they look great. I want to get the same muffler next month. How much louder is it than the stock muffler?

BTW, I have the moulded rear splash guards and they look great. They match the front flaps perfectly. I can't understand why they didn't make them stock. Weird, huh?
