i have a full 3" system from the turbo to my btg tail pipe, it sounds louder than the btg cat back syytem with resonator i had on there. i like the sound and there is deffently a power gain with the 3" pipe.
you are right the bottle neck is a power robber get rid of the bottle neck. i still have the cat on the car, but i also have a race pipe and when i get some time i am going to re[place the cat with the race pipe and see if i get more power. i have been told that if i replace the cat with the race pipe and keep the second 02 sensor in the pipe i won't through a cel or code, but if you remove the 02 senser it will through a cel. i hope to have some more info soon. i am still working with hector on a 3" downpipe to the tail pipe with no bottle neck. tommy |

Also, the muffler is a power robber. Its not a straight through design which is what you want for a turbo car.
