Neon SRT Radiator Hoses on PT Cruiser Turbo?

Hi. I was thinking about getting the Gates blue radiator hoses (upper and lower) for my 2003 PT Cruiser Turbo. However, I've only been able to find for the 2003 Neon SRT that may or may not fit. Was wondering if anybody knows if it will fit or not? Don't want to buy and then be out $. They look nice and if they work, I was going to get and change the hoses along with putting in a 180 degree thermostat and changing the antifreeze at the same time. Any help would be appreciated. I don't know honestly.. I do know that ours(upper) is routed through the loops of our intake manifold, the SRT has much shorter runners than we do.

The thermostat is a great idea though. I have that mod done as well. Only downside I have seen and its a small one. Defroster takes longer to work than it does stock. But once it gets working it works just fine.

I was thinking that it may or may not fit. I know there are some similar items between the Neon SRT and PT turbo. I'll just wait until they come out with some for the PT. I'll just change my antifreeze and thermostat this weekend in the meantime. Appreciate the help.

The engines are the same except for the intake manifold, intercooler and intercooler plumbing. I've had three PTs (one turbo) and have an '05 SRT-4. They should fit and if by some small chance they don't you can easily sell them to a PT owner.

Thanks Mean Green. I'll think about it. I'll go out and measure my hoses on my PT turbo and e-mail the guy and see how long the ones for the SRT Neon are and if they bend in about the same places.

the upper radiator hoses one the SRT and PT are different. the thermostat housing on the SRT is turned 45degs

and the PT is facing stright through the intake manifold.

if you swap thermostat housing the SRT one will sit alot lower and the hose would run into the intake manifold, if you buy the hoses, only the lower one will fit. and the lower one isnt really visible to the eye. if you want a different hose might i suggest.

they use to have hoses for PT Cruisers but dont anymore after looking. but you can still have one made. the hose is pretty much stright with one 90 deg bend to connect back with the radiator.

Those custom ones are awesome! I will have to look into having some custom ones made for my car

I've seen that pipe on a car, pretty cool, She set it off with a couple lights so you saw the fluid flow through it.. During the day it was alright at night
