Hi. I am new to putting in gauges. I have it installed in the pillar pod I have, it lights up, and I've got the tubing through the firewall to the engine. I've got the tee with the rubber grommit and with the tubing to the middle prong of the tee. My question is where to I tee this to in the engine area? I've heard the brake booster line, and the line to the top of the manifold, but how do I go about doing this? Do I need to cut one of the lines to get it to fit on each side of the tee? Sorry for all these questions and ignorance, but I ask questions to learn. By-the-way, I have an Autometer Ultralite II boost/vacuum gauge. Thanks in advance.

Use brass fittings and go off the line on the top of the T-body. Boost/vac its a popular spot. Brass doesn't leak and doesn't suffer heat failure, trust me fro personal experience on this one..
![]() Its a little blury but what I get for shooting under a strut brace in the dark, but you will get the idea..
