Stock Airbox Mod w/K&N VS. Airraid Cold Air Intake

Which is better to do and why else besides price and time to put into modding the stock airbox? I found a place online (have to locate it again though) that has brand new Airraid CAI's for $177. However, if the stock airbox mod makes for a smiliar if not better performance mod then I want to hear about it. Thoughts and suggestions, please!

Lots of feedback there that I'm going to just go ahead and do the airbox mod first. Now, however, I'm off to find out how to do this airbox to turbo pipe and the pipe to the throttle body piping? Is that done with just exhaust pipe perhaps?

Don't have the turbo so I just used to glance over the mods but I seem to remember that there was a person/member on PT CREW that used to make and sell all the external pipes in hard form to boost performance. Not sure if he's making them any more. He was called AMX1397.

I would think, if you have the time, you could do some of those modifications yourself by taking out the old flexible pipes and come up with something the same diameter in hard form that would fit your PT or go over to PTCrew.com - Learn it or Burn it. and search around for hard pipes or AMX1397.
