Default Two Mods In One Day (BOV install)

Got my rear sway bar on from the dealer today and got home my BOV was here. Just put it on. WHAT A PITA!!!!! But it now goes Psssssssst

Was more into taking the stress off the turbo than the sound though. I now hear the Turbo at all times for sure.

Stage 1 shipped today.

Hope I am doing the right thing in the steps I have takin.

Rear sway, BTG exhaust, BOV, Stage 1 , then Strutt Brace.

Time will tell .........

YOU'RE ON THE RIGHT TRACK BUDDY, BUT IF YOU'RE NOT REALLY INTO THE BOV SOUND, STAW AWAY FROM A BTG INTAKE, I REMOVED IT ONLY AFTER 3 DAYS, TOO LOUD!!! WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE IN TERMS OF PERFORMACE WITH THE BOV, MINE IS STILL ON BACKORDER.

Mex, how many more horses did the intake give you? My K&N Typhoon feels like about 10 hp min!! It does sound loud on acceleration but quiet on cruise!

MEXICANPT,
Not sure there is any performance increase. Just the sound. As I said I did it to prolong the life of the turbo. From what I read it just helps the turbo from being slammed to a stop when you let off of gas, and keeps the turbo spinning giving better response when you get back in it. I will take your advice on an intake. I am not into loud. I just dropped in a K&N and removed the white silencer and called it a day. Also am waiting to see if what is being said that Stage 1 works best with stock air box in place to be proven, or dis-proven by real life numbers.

Where is the silencer located. I installed a K&N drop in while I wait for the Typhoon that Steelblue is testing.

Also I am tinking of the Magnaflow system. Anyone know the increase in that if any.

Doug

dcrumlich... the magnaflow system fits well and sounds nice an mellow. But to get a decent gain from a bolt on system I'd ditch the muffler all together and go straight.
