Default misfire

I JUST CALLED MY LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP TO SCHEDULE AN APPT. TO GET THE MISFIRE PROBLEM TAKEN CARE OF. HE TOLD ME TO GO AHEAD AND BRING IT IN BUT HE HAS NEVER HEARD OF THE MISFIRE PROBLEM EVERYONE IS HAVING. I TOLD HIM THERE WAS A TSB ANNOUNCMENT ON IT AND HE STILL HEARD OF NOTHING ON IT. HE WANTS ME TO BRING IT IN THIS WEEK. I THEN CALLED THE CHRYSLER 800 NUMBER TO SEE IF THEY KNEW OF THE PROBLEM AND THEY TOLD ME THEY DID NOT.HE ALSO TOLD ME HE DID NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO SPEAK TO THE CHRYSLER ENGINEERS BUT MY SERVICE DEPT. DOES AND WHEN I BRING MY CAR IN THIS WEEK IF THEY FIND NOTHING WRONG THEY COULD CALL THE ENGINEERS AT CHRYSLER TO SEE HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM WITH THE MISFIRE. I JUST HOPE I DONT GET THE RUNAROUND. ANY ADVICE? THANKS IN ADVANCE.
