Default Emmisions inspection w/Stage 1
I had my GT inspected today. I have been running Stage 1 since shortly after they became available. The GT breezed through the Pa. emmisions inspection without a hitch. Passed with flying colors. I can't say that I wasn't concerned, but I am glad that the emmisions issue is past (at least for another year). The GT is much more fun to drive since stage 1 install, and I'm happy that there is no down side as far as state emmisions inspection goes.

In Mexico City we have to do a very strict emmision inspection every 6 months and my car passed it with the same results as it did before Stage I.

Right on Gear Head[?] I'm glad you folks who have to get tested won't have a problem. I live in a small town without testing so I was never worried.

Smog never has a chance in Oregon with all the rain.

Not totally true my friend. Portland can get the dreaded brown haze in the summer when it gets hot, though, no where near as bad as LA. Have a message board on Interstate 5 before entering Portland telling people to limit their driving. Luckily, I work just outside of Portland........Actually, it doesn't rain all of the time in Oregon. I think we've had two measureable days of rain since June.
