Lightbulb 2004 2.4 turbo with dtc p0303 & p0300, 53K Miles

After receiving codes, 0303 & 0300, I replaced the original plugs and wires. I cleared the codes, but I continue to get 0300. Any recommendations? Ideas ? Coil or EGR / vacuum issue?

Welcome to the forums.
You have no egr on an '04 turbo - did you mean PCV?
Coils rarely go.
Does it idle okay?
The wires are hard to seat at both ends - be sure they are seated well.

From PT Do-It-Yourself.net:

A misfire code in a specific cylinder (P0301-Cylinder #1, P0302- Cylinder #2, etc.) usually indicates a possible problem with a plug or ignition wire. A P0300 code indicates the misfire is random and moving around from cylinder to cylinder. The cause here would likely be something that upsets the engine's air/fuel mixture, such as a major vacuum leak, or unusually low fuel pressure

Check around for that vacuum leak.

Idle is the problem. I purchased a PCV and will install after the engine cools a bit. Thanks for the input.

PVC changed and fuel injectors cleaned, but still have a rough idle. Will change the coil next.

Had same codes on my 04 turbo. Replaced plugs, wires, cam pos. sensor and crank pos. sensor with no luck. replaced intake manifold gasket and that fixed it.
