Question Mopar Performance Blow off plate

Has anyone installed the turbo blow off plate on a HO Turbo and does it work? How does it work? I tried to search the forums but nothing really came up. Any input?

I've installed several. It is a serious PITA! One of the bolts is VERY difficult to get too. IMHO it's not worth installing. All it does is make noise. It's cool for the first day or 2 but after that... It blows off when ever there is ANY boost! Stop and go traffic all you here is PSHHHH constantly. All your doing is bypassing the built in surge control. Normally the pressure is vented back to the exhaust. With the blow off valve you vent to atmosphere. Doesn't improve performance at all. It just makes noise. Lots of annoying noise. It's very noisy.

You should get a twin turbo like this guy, they are extremely rare

I've had one sitting in a drawer for over a year now.
One look at the instructions & I said forget about it.

I recently installed one. 3rd bolt is a real PITA. 10x easier if you unscrew the oil line going into the turbo and moving it out the way.

Though I love it and puts a smile on my face (Little kid inside loves it). Yes it does blow off even though you're not in boost (though I don't have a boost gauge but hits hard when I do start boosting. Butt Dyno Gauge ).
