Default Compression; Continuation of P0304 Misfire

I've had a P0304 cylinder #4 misfire for 3 mos now and have replaced plugs, wires, coil, upper intake manifold gasket and injector.... Idles a little rough here and there but runs great otherwise....

Just did a compression test; All cylinders are about 120pso except #4 which is 135psi...

What does that mean???

mine was the lower intake gasket on #4, most prone to go out. the upper was fine, but replaced it as well. On the #4 runner, it was missing a chunk.

It means your problem is not valves or rings - that all your cylinders are just a little over being withing 10% of each other is a good thing.
Lower intake gasket is next logical target.
Spray starting fluid along intake seam - if idle smooths out, that confirms gasket.

I sprayed along the top of the intake; hard to get to the bottom gasket...NO change...

HOWEVER, when I sprayed the valve cover gasket (was changed a month ago), it choked and cut off????

What the heck is going on. How did that happen. I did NOT hit the electrical connection. Sprayed it at the #4 end of the valve cover.

Any suggestions other than retorqueing the vavle covers which I should have done a week after I changed it...
