As some of you have heard I run 17 to 18 lbs of boost on the street, and I do. you could blow out this hose (97.00) for a new one. that hose gets as big as a loaf of bread with high boost.
when you disconnect the hose mod, if you connect a guage to that port you will find the boost in that hose before the throdle body gets as high as 27 lbs. If you go under your car, on the pass.side, where the hose from the turbo to the intercooler, it almost touches the body of the car, feel that spot, see if it is softer than other parts of the hose if you have high boost that hose at that point will feel like it has a soft or week spot in it. I wraped mine with a 3" heater hose, and wire tied it, so it can no longer rub. some times i don't say things as clear as i think them so if any of you are not sure what I am saying. e-mail me or call me I will be happy to help. amx1397@aol.com 954 336-3405 ft laduerdale fla. |
