1/8 Mile Time Slips / Wed.12-03

Hey, Rodrun, as you know, on a really good track on a cool day you can get some really quick times with the mods you have. We have essentially the same mods, except for my 3" exhaust w/no muffler and my custom cowl CAI.

My trap speeds in the 1/8 are only slightly higher than yours, with a best of 74.67, but my ET's are much quicker. My best three 1/8 ET's are 9.222, 9.387 and 9.395. The 9.222 was done during a 1/4 mile run that netted a 14.489 @ 91.85. The 9.395 netted a 14.561 @ 93.30. The 14.561 run had a little wheel hop, but the quickest run was perfect from start to finish.

So, I guess what I'm saying is that you need to upgrade your exhaust and intake, AND don't run with the rear seats it. Keep up the good work.

BTW, the 60' performance is crucial to your end result. My best times had 60' times of 2.118 to 2.135 seconds.

I live in CT, but the track I ran on is in North Carolina (Mooresville Dragway). It was VERY hot and humid, also it was the 2nd week in August when I raced.

I ran a 9.594@74.25 and 1/4 was 14.859@93.78, so I guess you are around there. 2.22 60'. My best is a 8.81@83.8 in the 1/8. Autostick.
