Reynolds, GA- Silver Dollar Raceway - 11/14/03
It was a great night to go fast with temps in the mid 40s.The biggest problem I had was once again traction, although this time it was worse because the cold made the tires grip even less as my 60' times proved. I was able to score a new best though, which is as follows: R/T:.734 60':2.218 330:6.150 1/8:9.453 MPH:73.47 1000:12.337 1/4:14.771 MPH:92.49 I was very pleased, but due to being traction limited, I was very inconsistent. They told me I was still the fastest PT they have had, so some of you *really* fast guys and galsneed to get out there and show me up!! There will be 1 more Friday night Test-And-Tune next Friday, which I may or may not go to. Gates openat 5 and racing is from 6-10. With it being colder, less people are there and you can make as many runs as you want. I made 5 passes, but could have easily gotten 10 or more in. My best R/T of the night was a .614, and I nearly got a .500, but redlighted with a .460. As before, I ran with no back seats,no spare, no jack, floor mats, etc.I had 1/4 tank of gas, no rear weatherstripping under the hood, no baffles in the airbox, and the tire pressure in the front was about 25PSI. I launched in A/S, with TRAC off, at about 1500 RPM,letting the car shift itself in A/S. |

So Triplejack,
Does that mean you are looking at "Stage1" and a BOV??? Any Mods or all stock? H. |

Nah, no mods at all as of yet. I would buy Stage I if A) I had the money, and B) I didn't have to ditch it when Stage II and beyond come out. I *WILL* be waiting for Stage II and beyond. I want the car in the 300HP range down the road.

Congrats, now you are faster than my best G-Tech time and I have a new intake wich was good for about .2 sec! I have used as little as 20 lbs in front the less I use the better my traction. I have found that for me and the road surfaces I am running on putting it in manual mode and flooring it letting it shift at max rpm once I get traction is best for me! Yes no seats no mats little gas and no traction control!!
