hi 3 bar i have a couple of questions. on the 03 srt4 and the gt cruiser the turbo assy. with attached wastegate act. serge valve and manifold have the same part #. however the wastegate act. numbers are different, on the srt4 all the numbers read like this
377-17960 T07571 1502827 and the gt cruiser reads like this 377-17960 T07571 1502717 so the act. is different. i don't understand how dcx can replace the assy. on a repair job and be only one part number but have two different parts on it. lastly can you get you hands on a wastegate act. for the gt cruiser with # 1502717 that i can borrow too spec the difference. IMO i think the act. is the same but the mounting bracket is slightly different. please respond or you may email me tthrift@haynesjeep.com thanks for your help , fellow gt owner and dcx dealer parts manager tommy thrift |

Those are Mitsubishi part numbers and serial numbers. They have nothing to do with the difference between SRT-4 and PT GT. The exhaust manifold/turbo are identical between the two.
The spec for both wastegate actuators is 150 mm Hg can pressure to move the tip of the actuator rod 1 mm.... This requires some fixturing to measure, usually a dial indicator and a decent pressure regulator.

i guess my question is on the aftermarket wastegates act. like AGP usa a straight rod and they fit fine on a srt-4 but not on a pt gt. if the turbos and everything else are the same by dcx standards why won't the wastegate act. from AGP work on a gt.
if you have both cars sitting side by side are the wastegate act. the same , same bend in the rods and same mounting. if they are why would the part numbers on the act. be different. that is the spec i am looking for (i.e. mounting position, rod lenth and angle of drop from act. to turbo) thank you for your time , i hope the block party was fun tommy |

I'm telling you the parts are the same. I haven't seen an AGP can on one of our turbos, so I don't know how they get it in there.
