Is there one? I inquired somewhere and never got a response. That is the next major mod I want to do. I have the BTG axel back, 2-3 months now, but want to do this once. The BTG was a HUGE improvement but need to see 2.5" the whole way. Was thinking of going to Midas Muffler and have them run me 2.5" cat to existing 2.25" BTG, just to see what that would do. Cant be too much to have them do that Might give me a few. But if there is a Turbo back I would love to just do it and be done. One mod you just have to bite and do I think, to get these things ready for all the things here, and coming

exhaust depot sells a 3" downpipe, then you would need either a highflow cat or cat delete, to the muffler.....

The ED 3" downpipe does not fit the GT. In fact, I believe Hector mentioned trying to fit a 3" would be quite difficult. Maybe you could head up to a performance muffler shop and see if they can custom fab one for ya

I just finished installing the ED 3" downpipe w/hi-flow cat and the Mopar 2.5" catback. Yeah there is about a 3 to 3.5" gap between the downpipe and the straight pipe. I simply hacked off about 6" from the stock straight pipe and used that piece to bridge the gap. Yes this does create a little longer 2.25" bottleneck but it's something any garage mechanic can do as a simple solution.
Well I'm off for a test drive!!!! Aloha, Mark |

Ok, found my usb cable. Note To Self: '04 New Years resolution is to stop being such a slob so I don't keep losing stuff.
Anyway here's some pics of the exhaust. ![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah, I know it looks like a "Hack" job, that's because it is! ![]() But it works and the total cost of parts and labor for the connecting piece was $0.00 and that's important to a cheap bastard like me.[?] Aloha, Mark |

So forgetting the hack job, how was the test drive?

The car feels great & definitely pulls harder than before. Keep in mind that I don't know how much of this improvement can be attributed to the downpipe or the cat back since I did both at the same time. The sound (to me atleast) isn't much louder than stock and has a nice low rumble at idle.
Bring on the Stage 2!!!!!!!!!! (Please) Aloha, Mark |

I think it looks like a pretty good solution!
