Default 3" Pipe

Since I reinstalled the factory air box minus the two silencers I had to put back on the factory pipe going from the turbo to the air box. The factory pipe has a silencer in it and I want it gone. I know I can get a 2 1/2" to 3" 90 degree silicone elbow for the bottom and a 3" 45 degree silicone elbow for the top, but I'm having a hard time finding the 3" inch pipe with a 3/8" outlet on it to go in between. Any ideas on where I might get one?

Go to a wrecker and get an intake pipe from a 3.0l Caravan this should solve your problem.

Mean Green, I have made all kinds of intake systems for the turbo. I am now tring the down pipe( the pipe from the turbo to the factory air box,) this will be used with the factory air box. I will have it ready soon as mine works good, and the noise is almost gone yet the power is only reduced a small amount.I will take pic and send to you. send your e-mail address to me.or soon I will put it on www.ptcw.truckmoxie.com/amx1397/ amx1397@aol.com and the pipe will be CHROME and the couplings will be , red, blue, yellow, or silver

Just get some 3" tubing, either steel or aluminum and have a little welding done. That is what I am going to do.

Or you can just buy an intake system that don't use the lower box!

Ya, but some of us want to use the factory airbox, sans the three silencers, Steel.

Mean, "3" inch pipe with a 3/8" outlet"...? What 3/8" outlet? (I have not disassembled mine yet.)

On the factory turbo to air box pipe there is a 3/8" outlet for a vaccuum hose near the turbo outlet.

I had this setup on for a for a few days, its a truck tip and it reduces to 2 1/2". My turbo inlet is 2 1/4" and had to add a extra rubber sleeve there, thats why i removed it. I wasnt happy with it.

Try Home Depot. Look in the plumbing section for the 3" PVC pipe.
