Default Flowmaster Muffler..... GT?

50 Series Delta Flow 409S, 2.25IN(O)/OUT(C) [842451] - $127.89 : Flowmaster Inc. Exhaust Shop, Love That Sound!

Anybody have one of these or know of them that could input whether they work or not. The sight says its for a GT but to me it doesnt look too "free-flowing" and im worried i will lose power. Thanks in advanced!

Flowmaster mufflers are chambered, the exhaust does not flow straight through so you get a lot of restriction, which is especially bad for turbo motors.

Go with something like Magnaflow instead.

If you are gonna go with just a universal there are a lot of choices out there. Personally, find a reputable local exhaust shop and talk to them. If they are a Magnaflow dealer odds are they may have something on hand that will work, and they can get you a good price since it won't have to be ordered.

Delete your muffler.

Run an 16-20" Magnaflow resonator somewhere right after the downpipe.

Straight pipe after the resonator to the exit.

Want even more fun? Go with a 3" o2 housing, 3" cat-less downpipe and 3" all the way back after that. Spice it up by getting a cut-out.

It's why you run a long resonator. It really quiets it down alot.
