Default HEARTTHROB PERFORMANCE EXHAUST

Anyone tried one of these systems from J.C. Whitney? They are 2 1/2 inch and seem pretty cheap considering every other system out there. Thanks for your help.

Are they Stainless Steel, if not they will rust thru. You get what you pay for. Try Borla 2.5" CATBack, they sound great, they look great and will last forever!

I like the Borla also. If you are not in a rust belt state the Heartthrob will probably last a while but you will be seeing rust.

I have them. Get many complements. They are aluminized but not SS. It's a personal choice. I like the 2.5" piping size. They have been on 11 months. No rust on the pipe just on the cheap clamps. The tips are 3" SS and shine up nicely. I painted the rear cross pipe black (thanks Hillsboro Inlet & FiFi) so it blends in with the rear axle. I painted the two rear resonators anodized blue that matches the body color fairly close. My friends N/A PT has the Borla and it has to much drone for me. But the turbo should drown that out. I have no drone. I have not used the spare yet so i can not comment on that. That's what AAA is for. For my $230 to my door and installed, i love them! [?] Whichever you decide on, Good Luck![^]

Thanks to everyone for your help. This setup offers the only single outlet 2 1/2 inch systen I could find. I had duals on my 2002 and don't want to go thru that hassel again of rattles, etc.
