Well, crap is basically what I got from the dealer. What they said in a nut shell; Unless the turbo impeller is touching the housing or it's completely blown up they can do nothing. No specification available? The service Manager did say they would call Chrysler and talk to an engineer about this situation on Monday. No engineers available until Monday. Hey, maybe 3bar will get a call? My biggest concern is that I want to put my damn stage I kit on and if the turbo takes a dump, well, how much was that stupid turbo CopTezer?

This is a perfect example of our warranty debate!!!!!![xx(]

Anyway, I am going to start tipping a few horns in anticpation of the NEW YEAR!
Have A Happy One!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't Drink and Drive!

Any updates, ptgtcb?

COP TZER, how far did you push the dealer? I would think that for them to "blame" anything, they would have to qualify their case. Just because an aftermarket part is installed is not enough, they have to show that it is the cause of the problem. I am no engineer, but I think it would be pretty much impossible for the BOV plate to wreck a turbo assembly.

(I am not looking for a warranty debate since there is nothing to debate: it is in black-and-white. I do find, however, some service schmuck making bogus excuses to get out of lower paying warranty work unacceptible. I cannot stand dishonesty. This practice must be quelled; it will start with aftermarket parts, then driving habits will be a scapegoat, then anything will go.)
