Okay other than the price of $5.95 plus shipping, what else do we need to get one?

jim was it coated with somthing to keep it shiney? with my virago engine and my old ranger wheels when I took off the old deteriorated clear coat and polished them, it did not take long for them to...tarnish? for lack of a better word. I would buy if the intake was coated with somthing long lasting, cuz it looks great.

that is what i am feeling, but mother's aluminum polish can get expensive. a good clear poly coat would be great.

AMX, where did you find that bellows connector that you have on the air box down pipe?

Went to Home Depot and picked up at 3" special PVC "L" for under $8. Had to shorten it at both ends but works pretty well fitting between air box and wheel well intake. I had removed the complete intake housing, leaving a 4" x 5" hole in the air box. A rubber collar, again from Home Depot makes the fit to the airbox cleaner. The "L" is slightly larger than the wheel well opening, but I think that this is better than runnig a smaller diameter tubing down to the front end.

I just took a hack saw and cut that silencer so that it is flush with the inside of the box. That way the outside scoop part is still sticking outside of the box and covers the hole in the fenderwell. Works great with the 2" hose I have going down to the front of the car. My turbo up pipe is always icy cold. Congrats on coming up with something else to make your air box work better. [?]
