If you are still using the stock champion plugs check them often.Even if you close down the gap for better performance they are still too hot for turbo application. The champion 3032 single platinum plugs are one heat range cooler, but I noticed they have a problem with the internal pressure seal exhibited by verticle brown traces from the metal crimp up the insulator. The NGK 4306 plugs are a heat range cooler than stock and showed no signs of leakage and have not shown any signs of insulator cracking around the electrode as the stock champions have. What's worse is when the insulator ceramic chips off inside the engine causing damage.I hear NGK is coming out with a heat range "6", but I can't confirm that yet.

So what happens if you run a plug too hot? Do you just burn or melt it out? Do you also run the risk of burning or melting out the wires, too?

NGK Iridium plugs,LZTR6AIX-13,stock# 2315, 1 heat range cooler than NGK copper plugs LZTR5A-13

I heard that the the 2005 SRT-4's now use a gapping of 0.045 instead of 0.050.
