Default Non Spooling Turbo

Over the past few weeks I have changed practically every sensor on my 2006 PT cruiser turbo; each time I solve one error code, another arise. Today while driving with (NO) error codes/check engine light showing I attempted to push the issue and do a quick acceleration. This experiment led to more issues, when I pressed the gas and the tach rose above 3.5, the engine started to make an odd sound like a motor cycle missing. Spoke with a couple people and they stated the car rev limiter engaged, which meant the turbo is not responding or working. Have anyone had this experience? Also, the last code on the car was P2074, which disappeared when I installed the position sensor, but returned when I attempted the fast acceleration. To date, I have changed the following sensors: MAP, TIP, TPS, 02 (both), new wires, new plugs, fuel injection cleaning, and air breather (all over the past 3 days). Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.

What did you gap plugs at? Should be no larger than 0.040.
Did you buy Mopar sensors?
mopar parts online - Google Search
Many aftermarket sensors don't work on the PT.

All the sensors were purchased from chrysler, but the plugs installed were gapped at .50 as stated on the label under hood--should they be .40?

Some even recommend smaller than 0.040. I believe the 0.050 was replaced by a tech service bulletin to 0.040.
Not sure that's your problem, but shouldn't hurt anything, either.
