mid 14's!!?? that is really weird. I said it before ans i'll say it again, i must have a "freak" motor. I've held pretty even with high 13 cars, and even pulled some on the roll from 20km/h or so... maybe its that clean Canadian air that does it!?

McMaster,
I can post the time slip if someone explains how to do that (it's already on my hard drive).
Also, my QuarterJunior software predicts S2 on my car running 13.80's-13.90's with 265 HP and running 13.60's with "The Toys" (280 HP with the racing fuel switch)if Mopar decides to add that option for the Cruisers. My software says it will take 330 HP to run a high 12 second time unless we can come up with a way to launch harder.

COP TZER,
Have you run your car at a track in the quarter mile? I'd be interested in seeing your time slip also.

Deen
P.S. McMaster, I guess I could send an e-mail to you with the timeslip attached if I can't figure out how to post the pic online.

By now I should realize that I should be clearer as to what I mean. I was talking about the spring mod. I'd like to see that. I really wasn't talking about the time slip.

To post on line you need either a place that will host the pictures for you (like picture.com or something) or you will need space on a server somewhere (what I mean by this is that your ISP will typically allow you "X" amount of space for your web site and will usually have instructions posted on how to upload your site information.)

Having said that if you want me to post something, sent it to me.

Thanks for the information about the software, high 13's and low 14's is getting it done, we can start to hunt some of the stock big game with S2 i.e the Infinite GX35.

Finally would you run an analysis with your software on your car with the addition of a CAI, (which should give you apprx 15 additional WHP or 20 CrankHP) and post the results. Since I'm begging could you do them for an autostick also. I'm thinking we can get to 280 CrankHP with Stage2 and a CAI. I'm also thinking that 280HP will get us where your previous computation indicated. I went to that software sight and they don't do online orders, bummmer.

By the way that air isn't hot is it? But seriously it could be that you are using higher octane gas than we are, for instance I have 91 out here in CA.

Where did you attach the spring too? I had to run one all the way to the tab where the washer fluid line runs to the hood! And the only spring i had long enough, wasn't strong enough to do much

Jason,

There's a small screw on the back passenger side corner of the PDC which is where I originaly had my spring connected to. Had to move it after I installed the Mopar BOV since it blocked the path to the actuator arm. I now have it connected to a small L bracket which is attached to the side of the PDC. I used the same spring/turnbuckle set up used by this guy from SRT Forums.

Aloha,
Mark

mcmaster,
You have e-mail.

To run my spring-mod I have a flat bracket I attached to the back of my engine block. There are a couple of threaded holes below the head that are not used...at least they are not used on a 5-spd. (use metric bolts to attach. The spring I used is a universal carb-return spring from NAPA...they run around $8.00
You can also order one from Jegs, it's a Mr. Gasket part #720-19

To attach the spring to the waste-gate arm you will need to put a very small wire hose-clamp on the arm to keep the spring from sliding up the arm. I only attach the spring when I run at a race-track because I read in the SRT4 forums that the computer will compensate for the spring over a period of time thereby netting you back to S1 HP. The spring-trick nets me two-tenths faster ET at the race track. Takes me about two mintutes to install/remove.
