BTG has to get their story straight. When I spoke with them last week they said that the reason they didn't make a 2.5 is because it is too big and hits the frame on every bump. I asked them how Borla et al were doing it and they said that they were not aware of any 2.5" systems. Where have they been? I would have bought the BTG but I really wanted the 2.5. Even Mopar acknowledges the benefit of the 2.5. Obviously they could have used the 2.25 Borla unit as the aftermaket offering but they did not. So on goes my 2.5 Borla when it gets here this week....(Thanks Ant!)

As for the split exhuast, it is just show. It will add nothing on the dyno.

Mean Green, I will measure it tonight. I do like the sound of the new exhaust. The roads are still icy so I haven't been able to check on the increase in performance.

I drove the stage 1 at the Block Party with the Borla 2.5" duals and it was very quiet and made good power. I could not tell if the power was from stage 1, 2004 model engine, or a combo!

Hmmm, that is kinda small and I thought they were small at 2 1/4. I don't get it a turbo needs less backpressure, can you say straight through, yet Mopar designs a system with a muffler, "octypipes" an 1 3/4 tail pipes?

Two 1 3/4" pipes will flow more exhaust than one 2.5". I am not an engineer but I think that the reason why the Mopar design includes the so called "octypipes" is to insure that the flow will be equal out both tail pipes.
