Thrift,
Are you comparing new Champion plugs against new Denso's, or were the Champions in there for a few thousand miles?

Is anyone willing to get on a dyno?
Make a few base runs (not just one), then install the new plugs and make a few more dyno runs. I suggest at least 3 each and take the average. These runs would be during one session, not a week apart.

my champion plugs have abouit 1500 miles on them, but even when they were new i had a studder on hugh end. this was different than the tsb miss over 5200 rpm's. i can't help with the dyno run b/c i don't have a dyno anywhere near me. but the seat of my paints dyno sure feels better.

thanks tommy

Rodrun,

Were they "fun" miles or steady mph?

Well, mostly steady, the run up to 120 mph and the three rolling blasts to WFO smokein the Honda was on the same tank. But 96% of it was with the cruze on auto pilot. I'm pretty happy with the Denso plugs for now. Sure pulls hard when you romp.

I've got the same creeping crud in my idle too, but my baby's only got 1700 miles. I started noticing the miss around 1500, but plan to see if the dealer will take care of it when I take 'er in for a Mobil 1 fix at 2000 miles. They also need to replace a blown speaker in the passenger door(makes Alison Krauss sound awful!).
