Ok, installed the wire and plug kit from SparkPlugs.com yesterday (Sunday). Pulled the intake to do some detail work I have been wanting to do, and installed the new plugs and wires. Car idles smoother, and throttle resopnse is better. Car seems to be running better, but I DID wash and wax too, and you know that always makesum run better. I'll let you know how it goes but for now the best 80 bucks I have spent.

It's probably the wash and wax that has improoved your performance. I know my car runs better when it's clean. LOL

Which kit did you get? Did you replace the coil?

Funny, I noticed that my idle is progessively getting rough. (Only 2500 miles, too.) Originally, I was surprise how I did not feel idle at all; it was perfectly smooth. Not it is not and it is not exactly consistent. If it is not the plugs/wires, then it must be because the valve cover is not clean and shiny, and THAT can hurt your performance almost as bad as not having the wax like you said.

Sparkplugs.com, wires and Denso spark plugs. I make changes in stages, so the coil pack will be later, maybe, with the Denso's being a little hotter I am thinking the factory coil is hot enough.

Thrift,
Are you comparing new Champion plugs against new Denso's, or were the Champions in there for a few thousand miles?

Is anyone willing to get on a dyno?
Make a few base runs (not just one), then install the new plugs and make a few more dyno runs. I suggest at least 3 each and take the average. These runs would be during one session, not a week apart.

Are the GT's stock plugs dual platinum, or single, or neither?
