Default Straight Pipe

For those running with a straight pipe is it ver loud? If it is did it quiet down a bit with a resonator? I'm thinking about running with a straight pipe and a resonator.

Hopefully I can answer that next week. Haven't gotten my resonators put on yet. But in my opinion it is to loud without them.

I love the sound of a straight pipe on our cars!!! All i am running is my cat, and even that may go soon. You can really hear the wastegate open up, that is where you get the raspiness from. It would probably be too loud for some though. It is definitely louder than an SRT-4 exhaust. But straights offer the best performance (ie. least back pressure) for turbo cars. I had mine on all of last summer and was checked out by cops on numerous occasions for a variety of "reasons" and no probs

some people might not realize it, but the exhaust id "quited" down from passing through the turbo, so it's not insaneley loud like an NA car running straight pipes I'm thinking of using an electric cutout, that way i can run through a resonater when desired, and straight when desired

[like that used car one?] ehehehehe

To clarify: I meant straight pipe with resonators. Just pipes sound great on Harleys, but not so sure about the PT.

I don't think it is to loud. I mean I love the sound of my Cuda with open headers. I just don't think it sounds good. Hopefully the resonators will give it a better sound.
