Question BOV Question

I am planning on slapping on new Intercooler Pipes and then putting a Greddy BOV on it. I have the mopar diverter plate and am wondering if I'd havw to remove it or if I could keep it. I've looked it up and I've seen people that run both and not, but what is advised?

I ask because I've read that the doverter plate helps lengthen the life span of the turbo so I assume that keeping it on will benefit, then again, how will sound be effected because of it being on?

Thanks for looking it over!

-James

You can literally do it either way. I now lots of people that will attest to either one working fine. That being said, you can use the Greddy or HKS or Tial, etc. The word I'm getting is that the HKS is best, but they all work fine. Don't let me sway you on that.

I ran both the stock surge valve and a HKS bov on my '03. You only really need a real bov if you are running 20+ boost. Running under 20 psi and it's just an expensive noisemaker.

Yeah, I know. That's what I'm going for haha is a noise maker/show offy look.

I've also heard the HKS is best, but since I'm going for sound, I chose the Greddy. I just like how it sounds.

BTW, thanks for the help you guys!
