Are you using a DSP or Stage 1 pcm? if not, there is no need for Stage 1 injectors.
Otherwise you are just dumping fuel like crazy at WOT

No I'm not using either
I made a post for stockers and everyone has the blue ones I need the purple ones and a comment was made that I did not need a PCM for the blue ones

Yep, in closed-loop the PCM would use sensor readings to correct for the larger injectors, so no gain there by installing the larger injectors. On the other hand, at WOT the PCM goes into open-loop and goes with a specific preprogrammed set of parameters and since it can't tell that you have installed larger injectors, you will REALLY run rich. Our GT PTs already run rich at WOT to cool the combustion chambers as it is. The Stage 1 PCMs have an improved WOT program to make use of the larger injectors so the Stage 1 and larger injectors work hand-in-hand.

Now I understand...let me tell you, I had an issue with my Stage 1 when I first got it and had to run the Stage 1 injectors (577cc) with the Stage 0 pcm and it ran fine until I went WOT and the gas mileage went down to about 12mpg.... so if is for an emergency, you can use them but stay away from WOT

WOT - wide open throttle .

Yes, you can use them if you have no choice, until you get a DSP or Stage 1...but if you are not getting a DSP or Stage 1, what is the point of those bigger injectors?

Are you getting a Stage 1 or DSP ?
