Default Stage 1 with Dual exhaust Problem

Had a Stage 1, performed perfect with stock exhaust. I put on a custom dual straight thru resonator--no muffler. Since I put on the new exhaust, car will not start as well, and performance is very sluggish. Seems to have extreme turbo lag. Anybody run into this problem??[:I][:I]

Have you tried running codes? Checked for vacuum leaks? Exhuast should not cause hard starting unless the system has some sort of obstruction (you didn't leave a shop rag in there did you?). You may loose just a little bottom end but you would not really notice it. It might show up on a dyno run as a loss of a little power down low but the Seat-of-the-pants dyno would not really feel it a bunch. I don't like to bog my engine down low anyhow.

Far out of my knowledge but from what I read maybe something like disconnecting the battery or maybe you have to go through all the learning steps for the tranny again?

my 02 sensor got messed up when my exhaust got installed, caused backfiring problems and lsuggish response, cracked a spark plug to, check that out.

backfiring and sluggishness, hmmmmm... do you have an air-fuel or EGT gauge??? You may be runninig very rich, you may have blown out a plug.. try resetting your computer. If anything your car should spool faster than with the stock exhaust...
