Default Air Intake

I was thinking about picking up a K&N 57 Series CAI for the GT. Doing some research I found this is the most powerful one for my car I think, jst wanted to rn it by you guys to see if there is any others that will do the job better. I heard of this Air Box Mod but not sure how reliable it will turn out to be. Just checking to be sure before I drop $200+ on the intake.

The "air box mod" had been proven on a dyno over by the guys at PT Crew. All the other "proof" you've read about in your reading is from the manufacturer of the filter kit and you don't think it's a little bias on their part?

The air box mod draws in the cooler from the fender well, does away with any restriction in the box itself, adds larger intake parts and uses a flow free filter, all at little cost.
