Question Diablosport Intune on Pt GT: good idea?

Hello everyone,

Again, I apologize for my English, because I'm French...

I have a PT GT convertible of 2005, manual.
I have equiped it with mopar BOV, ngk plugs, plugs wires "red", KN filter.
And now, i wanted to reprogram it, but anyone near my region do it. So i'm interested by a "diablosport", and the last model: Intune.

What do you think about it?
I have GPL installation on my PT: is it a problem?

Thanks

If its French (Export Cruiser) it might not be supported by Diablosport. It depends on your Cal ID ...

Diablosport dealers don't tell me that...
I will try it, and if it's not good, i will tell it here and send the Intune at the dealer.

Is there a lot of people how had installed a diablosport on Pt GT?

There are quite a lot of people (myself included), but be aware, if you start messing with the tune, get yourself a wideband.

I agree with Huunterhood, a wideband is going to be extremely helpful if you are talking about adjusting your tune. Boost gauge isn't as necessary, as you can monitor your boost via the DiabloSport.

Personally, the AEM UEGO is, to me, one of the best out there. Here's a picture of it:

AEM also makes a boost/AFR gauge:

The problem with the apps is they do not have a wideband, they only use a computer calculated read out from the narrow band sensor and other parameters. A wideband its not that expensive but can save a lot of headache and can keep from causing damage to your motor.

Oohh... i had already bought it, and i had receive it yesterday... buy on ebay motors with an autorized dealer, 330E with shipping cost to France, i think it's great.
Very thanks anyway

To return about wideband, ok it seems to be safe.
So:
- complicate to instal? Is there a topic about that?
- what level is "normal" about A/F ratio?

thanks

I am not sure about the AEM, I have seen them on youtube and the numbers flash red very quickly.

I guess I like the sweeping gauge better, dunno, the red just doesnt match my interior color at all.
