Default mopar 2.5" downpipe
just saw this, mopar is making a 2.5' downpipe with cat, to work hand in hand with it's exhaust systems.

Maybe someone from Mopar could come on here and give updates.. That would be nice to hear it from the horses mouth.. I have been dealing with aftermarket parts for different cars for years.. I would rather be given the truth about a release date then nothing at all.. then you can save money and plan your upgrades around the parts you want when they are available..

Plus I would rather buy a mopar part that is made for out PT's if they are actualy going to be comming out with it then pay money for a part made for another car then have to fab it to fit my car.. ADAM

I agree with you but not sure about buying only MOPAR parts cause they are not backed by Chrysler, still void warantees, and can be pricey! Suspension parts are probably just as good by outside suppliers! To be honest, what makes an outside suppliers parts better just cause they put a MOPAR stamp on the product? I trust outside supliers like Koni or eibach or K&N, etc too!

i am a service advisor and also work parts for chrysler, dodge and jeep. there is no release date, or even a note of the downpipe in all of the latest up and coming accessory booklets that we receive. when i see one, i will make sure and post it.

and here lies the problem, mopar doesn't converse with its dealers!

trust me the downpipe is coming!
