Just put this in today. Have to be honest not sure if it has done anything or not. I used Champion RE10PMC5 (3032) gapped at .053. MSD coil and Hotwires (blue of course). Nice spark plug wires, pricey, but 10mm and have like a woven heat shield over them. Make the stock look like hairs. Anyway ran it WOT in auto and smooth as silk on the shifts, no miss or stutter, but then again I was not having that anyway. I will drive it for a time and see.
Did it without taking of the manifold. Later tonight I am off to Sears for a 10mm wrench with the rachet in it. I am wondering if my gas milage will go up ? Wonder what will happen Tues or Wed. when the ATP 3"down with cat goes on? Anyone else change out coil and wires and plugs? Any thoughts on gap? I was close to going up to 56-58 but never saw any post with the gap set up that high. |

the SRT folks are gapping around .04 on the cars with higher boost.. they were losing spark under boost at higher gaps
