Default I wanna burn some rubber? :)

Hey Guy n Gals I got a stage 1 but before I got the stage 1, I did alot of reading about stage 1 performance ect...
One thing I did notice was everyone was saying they can burn rubber of the get go so hold on to the wheel...ect I just can't seem to lay any rubber lol. I have atx, I put it in first and stomp on it and heck I don't even get a chirp lol. Same thing with drive. Is this normal? It does seem like there is a little hesitation before she blasts off though. I have had the Stage 1 /Injectors, Upper/Lower plastic Intake,
8mm MSD Plug Wires and NGK Spark plugs and air box mod now since October 2012. It never really did spin rubber.... but it does go better then before I had it.
Just wondering if I am missing out?

Heck, I can get a chirp out of my N/A auto by holding the brake, revving to a couple grand and letting go so it sounds like somethings wrong. The kind of rubber your running and type of road might have something to do with it if your running low profile sticky tires.

I took my Vette to a race track in Delaware. My Corvette club was taking a few honorary laps. I slowed down to a crawl, jumped on it with everything it had and couldn't get the tires to let loose. Looks easy with those 750HP NASCAR cars.

Stage 1 actually reprograms the trans for better performance. Better shift points. Try turning off you traction control. Or get you a deablosport. Nitro maybe can shed some light on this for you.

I have a DSP but I just havn't used it since the stage 1 install.
It's not that I want to burn rubber all the time or anything like that.
I was really just wondering if mabey there is something wrong with mine after reading all the "hype" about the stage1 and stuff like "better hold the wheel cause those tires will be spinnin when you stomp on it" stuff like that...
So I was thinking mabey I got a Dud? I mean it does go but not like the hype and it definatly don't spin no tires or lay rubber of the get go

Trade in *any* slushbox car you have for any manual one- they're just that much better, yes even a geoad metrone 3 cyl!
