Default Question for MEXICANPT...
Have you taken your car back to the dragstrip and gotten official times since the install of the 3" downpipe and cat? I'm curious if the upgrade netted you any improvement other than seat-of-the-pants feelings...[:I]

The day I took the car to the track to measure the benefits of the dp the track was especially slippery, therefore, launching the car was very tricky, the ET dropped only .2 sec, but the trap speed increased by 9 MPH.

I'm sure that given the right track conditions the time could imporve by half a second.

Trap speed is a good indicator of HP. That 9MPH is indicative of a substantial gain. Is the downpipe the only modification that affected that increase? Pretty impressive.

Yes and no, along with the 3" dp I did a full 3" catback, so now I actually have a 3" turboback.

This setup rocks, I have no muffler and the sound is just a little louder than an SRT-4 and much sweeter.

You got rid of your BTG muffler? It has to be pretty loud WFO, yes/no? Did you feel a difference when you removed your BTG portion?

I only remove it when I go to the track, for street driving I put it back.

How loud is you Pt with the 3" pipe?? I have DCII and have no muffler's on it right now with a custom dual Exhaust cat back. I luv the sound it has know but I plan on getting a 3" downpipe with a free flow cat and going 3" all the wat to the custom y in the system. Who's 3' down pipe did you use ?? did you use both o2 sensors??

I used the ATP dp and yes I still use both sensors.

The sound without the BTG is really loud, I don't like to draw so much attention on the street.

It does pull a little stronger though.

I highly recommend this setup.
