It's not a bad option for 50 bucks compared to more expensive options. Plus it uses existing recirc valve. No moving parts.
If you like the sound, get it. If no, then you can live without it.
I think it's cool...know the dealership thought it was neat

That will teach me to say something about a product I know nothing about..

Let me rephrase that.. Because I do know nothing about MOPAR BOV.. Other than a lot of people I know have it.. Because a lot of people are ordering the UCP with no BOV stating they already have the MOPAR one..

I have a Blitz BOV and I have no dyno #'s to back me up on this but I do not think that the stock surge valve pushes the amount needed out of the system to let the turbine wheel spin like it is needed between gears or when you are at high RPM and let your foot off the gas.. Especially on a turbo car where the turbo itself is making or breaking the HP you are getting such an inexpensive part I would rather be safe than sorry..

Heya,
The BOV is a solid slab of metal and a gasket.
Figure the weakest link is the original recirculating valve plate you stick back on top of it after you seat the BOV.

A recommend a greddy or HKS unit for a stick shift car.

The BOV does not deal with a lag issue, it deals with a recovery issue. WHen you raise your boost levels, the factory surge valve can't discharge all the extra volume of air quick enough. It cant support the extra volume. WHen you add a real bov, you will feel your turbo come back online sooner vs not having one.

On my srt, i use to run the factory surge valve in conjunction with the greddy unit. Made a big difference in recovery. If yoru running stock boost levels, then stay with the factory surge valve. If you run 16-18psi, upgrad. The mopar one serves no performance gain at all.
