Don't you love all the diferent parts that there are between them...
I just learned almost all the strange things there are inside those rotary engines.. My favorite part: Apex Seals... The #1 cause for falure in a rotary engine[} ]The thing that craked me: No Camshaft! and no valves! It is a strange little thing [8D] Ian

I got mine about a month ago. I feel no difference except at WOT, but there I am sure I feel a difference. And I do hear a slight increase in turbo sound.
5hp? 2? 7? I wouldn't dyno my car, and I doubt increases that small could be consistently demonstrated in a dyno anyway with slight differences in ambient air and other things that can't be exactly duplicated with every run. But I do guess I'd find something upward of 5hp at certain points on the curve. I mean, how much HP increase does it take before you notice it with your buttometer? I would say I recommend it, and once you get the OEM one off and look down the barrel, you'll see the huge difference in restriction. Like everyone else I've read post, I'm satisfied. I figure this mod also opens me up to realize better gains when I put the bigger exhaust on.

Loyd, there is no Seamist Green coupling available
for the AMX Brand X Turbo Down Pipe so I choose a blue one as it will go well with my accent colors--blue and purple. I'm sure there will be many things to do and see at Mossyrock. It is my understanding there may well be close to 200 PT Cruisers there--possibly more! However, I won't have this MOD installed by then as I'm now talking to my dealer about installing the STAGE 1 Turbo Upgrade and Mopar BOV which probably will not happen until June so thought I would wait and put everything on my car at the same time. Hey guys, your mixxing up a downpipe with an intake. THis below is a downpipe. It connects to the exhaust portion of the turbo and is attached to your factory exhaust system.

Not sure about other intakes.. I have dyno'd my Intake, Uppercharge system using another PT other than mine.. he has stage one and an exhaust.. We took pictures so of the install so mid next week I will have an install page up on my web site.. www.prototypepower.com
Dyno 30HP over stock.. Now there has been a lot of talk about dyno #'s but that is what I made.. Everyone that has gotten my system is happy with the improved feel, look, crafsmansip.. F.Y.I I just dropped V.2 at the powdercoater today.. should be ready friday.. I did 5 powdercoated black, 6 candy blue, 8 candy red.. one chrome for a customer... ADAM baggedptturbo03@aol.com |
