Default Mopar Decel Gurgle

I am a huge fan of the Mopar decel gurgle. If anyone has a diablosport handheld and wants a little more decel gurgle in there exhaust note let me know. I have full CMR access and will do it for FREE. All for the love of MOPAR's
Busted_PT, myckee and SPLNeon like this.

I am sure Keven will come along and give more detail but I will at least respond in the temporary.

The exhaust burble calibration requires that SKYED has your PCM . So you will need to carefully remove it pack it well protected and ship it off to them. Keven's turn around time is about 10 working days.

I recomend that if you are going to have this done for fun perhaps you should consider a full PCM tune ?
This full tune will improve many aspects of your PT driving experence that does not mean all power oriented.

This goes as well for NA PT Cruisers as well.

Drop keven a pm or email and talk with him about it.

As for the exhaust "burble" you should be very clear what you would like to hear. Adjustments can be from a nice sounding sports car exhaust burble to a pop, pop , burble burble pop pop sound that seems to be liked by younger drivers?

All adjustments can be tailed to individuals taste . And all calibration changes can be return to stock perimeters if any one wants or needs to have it done.

Maybe I am interpreting Kevin's post differently, but my understanding he is offering this tune for a DS unit and not for the PCM itself since the CMR makes a tune for DS products. So no need to remove and ship the cars computer.

How it Works

Every vehicle tuned with CMR will require a DiabloSport tuning product such as the Predator, Trinity, or a CMR Chip. Tuners will develop their calibration on the dyno with the CMR tuning software and load their tune file on to one of DiabloSports tuning products such as the Predator, Trinity or Revolution Chip. The Predator and Trinity will each hold 5 custom tunes and are required equipment to tune any 05 or newer Dodge, Ford or GM vehicle...

The steps necessary to custom program your vehicle:

read your vehicle's ORIGINAL (stock) tune with the Predator
transfer the tune into your PC using our Windows based PC Interface
email it to the tuner
tuner will modify it per your specification
tuner will email the custom tune to you
transfer it back into your Predator using the same PC Interface
the last easy step is to flash-program it into your vehicle

If you have a DiabloSport you only need email your PCM file that you created when you installed the DSP,DST or DSI.

If you don't have a DiabloSport than you need to physically send your PCM

What Keven is offering is to do it with the DiabloSport calibration for the "burble " exhaust sound for free.

Which do you have myckee as far as I can tell from your posting you only have a stock PCM?

Just so you understand you do not need to be a CMR dealer and have the CMR software to do advanced calibrations. Many calibration are easily done with the Diablosport devices them selves. However to understand and perform better calibration it is better to seek out a CMR or Keven at SYKED. He is able to perform calibration adjustments in the Diaoblosport devices and is not a CMR. Also unlike the limitations that the CMR program has SYKED can also adjust torque management settings in the TCM. This is all offered at a very reasonable cost.

Your choices are:

Stock PCM and have it custom tuned
STAGE 1 And have it "tweeked" or a full custom tuned
Diablosport and have custom tunes and multiple tune files.

You should be a car salesman with your roundabout and double talk. lol

Lets break it down...
Syked started this thread offering a free service for DS users.
Linkinparker455 wants to take him up on it and asked how. One must infer that he has a DS device.
You then responded with the bit about shipping his PCM off to have it done.
I corrected you as he certainly does not.
You then replied with all kinds of information which really wasn't required to obfuscate your error.

What did I miss?
