I have one in my car, all it does is dance, you need to find one that has it's own sensor.

What ^ said. If the a/f gauge is not a wideband sensor, they are completely useless. Dont even waste your money. When you drive you car it is in closed loop. yada, yada, but in that mode your 02 votage reading is constantly changing, causing the meter to bounce back and forth very rapidly. At open loop (WOT throttle) you can at least get a constant reading, but the meter doenst tell you anything useful. All the a/f gauge is, is a voltmeter. That is why you need a wideband type. It uses a different 02 sensor that will actually tell you the a/r ratio. 14.7 is about where you want to be, but you will never know with a type like the Autometer one. Sae yourself the disapointment.[
)]I know your question was originally to see if anyone has hooked it up, but I just thought I would through that in for an FYI.

You might want to investigate utilizing a pyrometer gauge.
