Default Paging Mr. Thrift! (Mopar Short-Throw Shifter)

A few months back folks were on indefinite hold for the Mopar brand reduced throw replacement shifter kits. TThrift, any idea if these are available yet?

The row boat shifting is working my nerves, must... spend... money...

i hear my name being called, i spoke to mopar last week and i asked about the mopar hurst shifters and i was told that all hat needed to be done was cut a purchase order to the vendor. however with mopar this can still take some time. as soon as i hear something that you want to hear i will post. until then i guess rowing is the only way to go.

thanks tommy

bah! Thanks for the info though, are these available outside of Mopar distributers? I've seen the B&M and the Hurst packages but they make it sound like they are designed for pre-2003 manual trans.

Beacon I can only speak about B&M it works fine in GT ( the same pn the fits na manual) I 've been running one since last March recycled from my '01 na with no modifactions other than "booger -bushings " on both ends.

B&M works on the Getrags? That's awesome. I'll just have to get a different shift knob so I remember Reverse is next to 1st. [|)]

Sweet flash, that's good to hear - you feel a marked improvement over the stocker then I take it?

shorter throw, tighter with booger ,less chance of "missing" 3rd when slamming but still miss sometimes but only to "5th" .. Since Sci-Fi suggested open -palm shifts not @ all.
