Default '04 GT automatics

Do the '04 GTs equipped with the automatic tranny have a LSD like those with the Getrag, and if so whats the parts #, I want to put one in my '03.

Thanks.

I believe there is no LSD for automatic GT's for 03 or the 04 model. In addition, I do not believe that the 04 GT Manual comes with an LSD as a stardard option, nor the 03's. However, Mopar does offer a Quaife LSD for the GT manuals and probably runs around 1100 - 1400 U.S. currency.

The Dodge SRT-4 (Neon) 04 models come with a LSD as a stardard, but that's a different car.

Bummer, so if I get a Stage 1, how can I beef up the drivetrain so that it can put the extra power down since I drive an auto?

Go to Phantom grips web site, I thought they had one for the '03 auto, but I could be wrong.

Phantom is a locker, not a positrack, quite a bit of difference. The phantom may be the only game in town for us autostick owners though.[8)]

Did I miss something on the LSD. The last I knew the LSD was never released for the PT. Qualiffe made a spec version for Mopar but was never released and never went to production! That information I got directly from Qualiffe in California & England.[:I] OR .. I am not keeping up?

If you look in the mopar catalog, you will see a LSD for 03 and 04 GT manuals. However, I'm not sure if it ever went into production.

Thanks for the responses and for helping me understand the position I am in as an owner of a GT automatic. It looks like drivetrain mods for GT cruisers are kind of limited huh?

Kirby,
That is why I brought up the phantom, "its the only game", but am I correct that it is available for the autostick?

From what I've been able to glean from the SRT4 site the addition of posi on the 04 SRT4's has not made a significant differance when used for drag-racing. However it has made a differance for those that road-race (going through the twisties.
