What ll be the difference between a ported manifold and a short cast manifold ?

Maybe Nitro tried both ?

One works well the other sorta works with a lots of other modding.

IMO The BOV adapter on the modified stock is kinda worthless extra and not needed. Also they did a poor upgrade. If you could look on the inside you would see lotsa flws.

One fits nicely on the PT Cruiser the other fits like a "turd"!

IMHO based on examining a few different examples offered over the years the OEM modified correctly is a better choice for a PT Cruiser.

Marc The top aftermarket one is a joke plain and simple.

One was engineer at the begining to work best on a PT Cruiser and then improved on.

The other is someone using a simple CAD program to design one and probably has no recall automotive engineering, ASE education or performance experience.

A turd well....

It s a bit short, Im not sure that modern performance, and lot of more professional, sell this manifold just because someone with no qualification develop it. No ?
And with all the things you know, I think you could give me a bit more explanations,

Ported manifold - is for use with the factory turbo.
AGP Cast manifold - is exclusively used for aftermarket turbos.

You cannot interchange these parts, ie, you cant use a AGP cast manifold with the stock turbo.

If you want a larger turbo, you just have to use the AGP cast manifold. If you are happy with the factory turbo performance but want a slight upgrade, you can use the ported modified OEM manifold.

BOV adapter?
That's an external wastegate flange. Some guys like to modify their stock turbo housings for use with an external wastegate for a louder, unique sound, and or for better control of boost pressure over the factory internal wastegate style actuator.
