Ran the 2005 in the Street class and had 7 wins to one defeat.....
very fun day! Here I am getting ready to run a Pontiac... ![]() Staging the Ragtop.... ![]() And the Topend power of the GT in the Tower lane pulls away at the end for the win!

Here I am lining up agaisnt my son, whom also fell to the RagTop!
![]() Here a truck challenges, and also falls to the Turbo.. ![]() and a irratating ricer goes down after laughing at the Ragtop in the pits..

The car ran low sixteens, a average of a 16.19 in the 86 - 88 mph range...
not to bad considering that we are at 5300ft, the car is a heavier Ragtop and the tranny is a autostick. Also, I didn't do anything fancy on the takeoff, I simply waited on the tree and floored it....

Racing at altitude with forced induction..........isn't it nice having an unfair advantage???? All those N/A cars sucking thin air while your turbo is creating its own. I'll bet you had a blast with the looks on peoples faces when they watched you kill competitor after competitor! Thanks for sharing.

Looks like Albuquerque from the mountains in the back. . . Never got out to the track in my 4 years living there. A shame, but I figured that with a n/a '98 neon R/T, the times would be pretty pathetic (tho almost everyone would be suffering similarly). Nice job!

Great job Lucille! I am in Santa Fe and haven't gotten to the strip in Albuquerque yet. I keep meaning to get down there; I'll definitely have to do it sometime this summer. By the way, nice Convertible.
