Default hesitation when accelerating

Hello everyone, my name is Mike and I am new to this site. I have read some arricles here before that have helped, but now I am at a loss. I have a 2005 PT Cruiser GT with 99,000 miles. About 3 months ago I had a cylinder misfire code and replaced the coil pack and plugs. Has been running good until the last 2 weeks. I have a hesitation when I accelerate in the 3500 to 4000 rpm range. Also at idle when i step on the gas it will hesitate. When stopped at a light it will chug intermittantly and lurch forward a little. So far I have replaced the crankshaft position sensor and the cam position sensor. The chugging when at a stop seems to have stopped but the acceleration problem remains. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

100k miles should be the time period to remove and clean the injectors. i wonder if that's the problem. i'd look into it. or, there's a problem in the path to current for the coil driving circuits, like a high resistance. do you use 91 octane or higher fuel ?

I have used 91 octane since I bought the car a couple years ago. I am learning as I go, so how difficult of a task is it to remove and clean the injectors? Thanks for the suggestions!

Before pulling the injector, why not go to Walmart and grab a bottle of Techron Fuel Injector Cleaner? I've been using it for years and have never had a fuel injector problem. One bottle about every 10,000 miles has worked just fine for me.

I've been using it 5 years. No problems either.

FWIW, I haven't been using Techron for years. I haven't had any injector problems either.
