Tommy, what is a BWA? What does it do? How much does it cost? How much faster can I go? Will she know?

http://auto.howstuffworks.com/turbo6.htm I'd read the whole thing as well, nice general info about the basics. |

Thanks for the link Beacon, I'd forgotten about that. I guess the question is what will the new one bring as far as performance?

I sent a post (last week) to Nick and Ben of AGP and they replied that the billet WGA should be available by the end of September. The holdup is making some final changes to the mounting bracket for the PT
Tommy has at least ten on order and I already have mine on order through him. The "+": The adjustable billet WGA will allow you to run higher boost and will maintain a higher boost to redline. Probably the next best HP device since Stage 1 The "-": Higher boosting at part-throttle = not as driver-friendly as stock. Of course this device is not warranty-friendly (Chrysler warranty that is) Deen

As in, it jumps at part throttle? [/quote] Not sure what you mean by "jump" but you will get excessive boosting at part throttle. This may or may not be a problem depending on your driving style. Some say they just feather the throttle when leaving from a light , etc. Others like to drive a little more aggressive and this will cause them to go to full boost when only applying about 50% throttle. There are some fixes for this condition though. One is to install a dual-stage boost control. you drive around town on the first stage where you have it set to low boost, then when you want to race or just accelerate hard around someone you flip the switch to the 2nd stage and get your higher boost levels. You might fire off a question to Tommy though...he is currently running the AGP proto-type adjustable WGA and should be able to give you re-world driving experiance using it. For those of you wanting to run power levels matching Stage 2 or more an adjustable WGA will be a must...unless of course Mopar finally does release S2 for us Cruiser types (and even then a lot of the SRT4 guys are still dumping their Mopar S2 WGA's for the aftermarket adjustable WGA's). Deen
